Final exams are approaching (KELLER Newsletter)

That time of year is coming up again: the final exams for industrial and technical training occupations are just around the corner. This also means that a new generation of skilled workers will soon be entering the workforce – and for many companies, a new phase begins: onboarding, supporting, and further developing them.
Those who completed their training with SYMplus may have a slight advantage here (although we might not be entirely objective about that).

In any case, we wish everyone the best of success!

A look at past exams

Speaking of exams: Did you know that after each exam, we recreate the written task in SYMplus and upload it as a simulation on our YouTube channel (@CNC KELLER GmbH →)?

For example, we’ve already done this for last year’s exams (Summer 2025 – turning and milling – and Winter 2025 – turning and milling).

Our goal is not to provide a model solution but to show the tasks “in motion”:

How does the machining process run?

How does the workpiece develop step by step?

And most importantly: What has been asked—and what might be asked—in upcoming exams?

Instant CNC

While we’re on the topic of videos: in our “Instant CNC” series, we go through selected tasks from the CHRISTIANI task collection (turning, milling, driven tools, etc.) and simulate them using SYMplus.

Based on each task, we then explain selected PAL commands and cycles briefly and concisely – “instant,” so to speak.

Like, Subscribe, Comment

One of the best things about YouTube is that everything is free and available at any time. If you find the videos helpful, we would, of course, appreciate a like, a subscription, or a comment.

A new software update is coming soon

While trainees are preparing for their exams, we are already working behind the scenes on the next SYMplus update. We will keep you informed as soon as there is something new to share.

Until then, we wish you all the best in the workshop!
