Throwback 1999 – BliK (Berufe live im Klassenzimmer)
KELLER brought together schools and companies in 1999 as part of the “Berufe live im Klassenzimmer” (BliK) program to overcome prejudices against “blue-collar professions.”
By utilizing the “Qplus” software (predecessor to our current CNC software SYMplus™), students were able to independently create workpieces, which were then implemented by partner companies. The result? Enthusiasm from all involved, with almost two-thirds of the youth seriously considering pursuing a “blue-collar profession.”
An inspiring glimpse into an initiative that encouraged young people to explore new career paths.

We don’t have our own stand this year, but our sales manager, Mr. Reckermann, will be there for a few hours. Maybe we can arrange a meeting?

Throwback 2017 – KELLER moves to new office
Our application developer and support expert, Mr. Meißner (in red shirt and brown trousers), plugs in the Mac mini. When we moved from the first to the second floor of our company building in 2017, our lounge was still pretty chaotic.
But with united forces, we quickly set everything up and today it is a cozy oasis for meetings, lunch breaks and for welcoming our guests.

A new face in the KELLER.Software team!
A new face in the KELLER.Software team! A warm welcome to Yasin – our new talent in the world of application development!
Hello, Yasin! Please introduce yourself briefly.
Hello, my name is Yasin and I’m 25 years old and I’m training as an IT specialist for application development at KELLER.Software.
What made you decide to start a training program in this field?
I am fascinated by the opportunity to develop software that makes people’s lives easier. I’m also motivated and enjoy learning new things, which is essential in this profession.
That sounds exciting! And why did you choose KELLER.Software as your training company?
I felt comfortable at KELLER.Software right from the start and I liked the working atmosphere. I am particularly interested in the software (SYMplus) for turning and milling.
What are your first impressions of working here?
Good, I am constantly given new tasks that help me to improve my skills. I also always have the support of my colleagues and superiors.
We’re glad to hear that. Do you have anything specific you would like to learn?
I would like to learn more than just a programming language and how to use it in practice. How to use computers optimally and how to solve computer problems. I want to learn more about the different types of networks and how to set them up and manage them.
Finally, what do you like to do in your free time (apart from programming)?
I like to spend time with my friends. We like to go out, to a restaurant, to the movies or just for a walk. I’m a big fan of international cuisine and like to cook recipes from other countries. I also like to play video games with my friends to relax and have fun.
Thank you, Yasin, for the short interview! Great to have you with us. We look forward to supporting/following your professional journey.
