Throwback 2017 – KELLER moves to new office
Our application developer and support expert, Mr. Meißner (in red shirt and brown trousers), plugs in the Mac mini. When we moved from the first to the second floor of our company building in 2017, our lounge was still pretty chaotic.
But with united forces, we quickly set everything up and today it is a cozy oasis for meetings, lunch breaks and for welcoming our guests.

If you have already activated a SYMplus™ license and none of the above points apply to you, you can work as usual.

Hello, Yasin! Please introduce yourself briefly.
Hello, my name is Yasin and I’m 25 years old and I’m training as an IT specialist for application development at KELLER.Software.
What made you decide to start a training program in this field?
I am fascinated by the opportunity to develop software that makes people’s lives easier. I’m also motivated and enjoy learning new things, which is essential in this profession.
That sounds exciting! And why did you choose KELLER.Software as your training company?
I felt comfortable at KELLER.Software right from the start and I liked the working atmosphere. I am particularly interested in the software (SYMplus) for turning and milling.
What are your first impressions of working here?
Good, I am constantly given new tasks that help me to improve my skills. I also always have the support of my colleagues and superiors.
We’re glad to hear that. Do you have anything specific you would like to learn?
I would like to learn more than just a programming language and how to use it in practice. How to use computers optimally and how to solve computer problems. I want to learn more about the different types of networks and how to set them up and manage them.
Finally, what do you like to do in your free time (apart from programming)?
I like to spend time with my friends. We like to go out, to a restaurant, to the movies or just for a walk. I’m a big fan of international cuisine and like to cook recipes from other countries. I also like to play video games with my friends to relax and have fun.

Throwback 2009 – “KELLER” day at DREHER Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH
In March 2009, we celebrated the “KELLER Day” in Denkingen (Baden-Württemberg) together with our sales partner, DREHER Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH. We were present there and were happy to answer visitors’ questions about our CAD/CAM systems, our partnership with HAAS and the PAL qualification program.
Of course, the practical part was not to be missed! As at numerous trade fairs, NC programs could be created live with our CNC software SYMplus™ and implemented on HAAS machines.
