KELLER.Academy – Course: Driven tools, level swivel and reform PAL2020

And the time has come again: The last KELLER.Academy course of 2023 is behind us, and the Academy is heading into a well-deserved winter break. But don’t worry, the first course of the new year on “Basics of graphical programming (CAD/CAM) with SYMplus™” will kick off on January 11–12, 2024.

It was truly a fantastic conclusion! For the third time this year, we had the pleasure of welcoming the dedicated teachers from BK Hattingen. We were equally delighted by the visit from representatives of the Oberlin Berufsbildungswerks and Bilstein & Siekermann GmbH & Co.KG.

Congratulations to all the participants for successfully completing the KELLER.Academy course “Driven tools, level swivel and reform PAL2020,” and have a wonderful holiday season. See you next year!

      KELLER.Academy: Ludwig-Geißler-School in Hanau

The KELLER.Academy visited the Ludwig Geissler School in the Grimm brothers’ home town of Hanau in Hesse.

The participants immersed themselves in our SYMplus™ CNC software, familiarised themselves with the DIN/PAL part using milling examples and took a look at swivelling. The graphic design of a turned part for the NEF 400 machine with SINUMERIK control rounded off the day perfectly. Thanks for inviting us.

            KELLER.Academy – course: Basic DIN/PAL programming with SYMplus™

Last week, in a small yet highly motivated group at KELLER.Academy, we delved into the topic of ‘Basic DIN/PAL programming with SYMplus™’.

Both the participants from Kolping Bildung Dortmund and BBS Cuxhaven had limited exposure to CNC programming in Milling before. But that’s precisely why they came to us.

The result? A major success! The enthusiasm and commitment were truly remarkable. Congratulations on passing the KELLER.Academy course!

              KELLER.Academy – CAD/CAM training with Miler CNC-Gravuren + Zerspanung

An absolutely awesome takeaway from our time at the KELLER.Academy last week: ‘Reduction Nipples.’ These little but highly practical components are experts at connecting different threads. And, of course, our instructor, Mr. Reckermann, along with our training guest, Mr. Miler (from Miler CNC-Gravuren + Zerspanung), programmed these workpieces on the spot using our CNC software SYMplus™. Perfectly aligned with the course theme ‘CAD/CAM.’

Fun fact: Embracing the philosophy of ‘you’re never too old to learn,’ Mr. Miler invested in personal training at the age of 77. What’s more, he spilled the beans that he’s gearing up to purchase a brand-new machine. Truly inspiring!

KELLER.Academy visited the David-Roentgen-Schule in Neuwied

Last week, Mr. Reckermann, our KELLER.Academy trainer, visited the David-Roentgen-Schule in Neuwied. He conducted a training session on DIN/PAL (turning and milling) as well as on the topic of driven tools and plane swiveling.

In addition to the dedicated teachers from DRS, an instructor from the firm Wirtgen in Windhagen also participated in this course. On the first day, a teacher and the principal of BBS Heinrich-Haus Neuwied were also part of the group. A big thanks to all the participants for two fantastic training days!
